Experience an authentic taste of the holidays this season at Hotel Husafell as our celebrated Christmas menu hits the carving table.
After a long day of winter adventure, there’s no better way to warm your spirit than in our cozy restaurant with its open gas fireplace, fur-topped stools and glacier views.
During December our chef puts a sophisticated spin on holiday dining with a five-course menu featuring traditional Icelandic Christmas flavors like smoked lamb carpaccio and seared scallop with pressed pork belly. Available November 25th – December 18th, 2018.
‘Tis the season and Hotel Husafell is sparkling with holiday magic. We’ve dressed up the hotel with traditional jolaskraut (holiday decorations) and figurines of Iceland’s 13 mischievous Yule Lads.
Guests of Hotel Husafell will partake in Iceland’s ‘Shoe in the Window’ tradition and get a holiday treat from an Icelandic Christmas Elf. Every night beginning on Dec 12th an Icelandic santa hangs a festive bag on the doorknob of each guestroom filled with a small surprise and a letter from Yule Lad of the day.
